If your overdrive is fried, just replacing the friction and steel plates may not fix your problem. Save yourself some aggravation and plan to do the seals at the same time.

that was posted by 'robstaff' a while back...and i was wondering if anyone knew how much those parts would cost (in USD please) and if I could do all of the work myself.

To replace the Frictions, steels and Seals is $70.00 for the ALto kit.

If you can do it yourself relies on how good you are with the wrenches. I like to think most folks can do this one :)
