I really don't want to use it, but I think I need to use it to spool my turbo better. Just a 35 shot when I'm brake torquing. Tap the button once I torque up to 2500. It gets to 2500 pretty quickly but after that it takes forever to get to 3000. Any opinions on this idea?
I like it a lot. I just power brake to 3000rpm at part throtle and when it's time to go I let the brake go and floor it. Since the nitrous is throtrle activated it comes on when I floor and I'm gone. With a 75shot off the line my best 60ft is a 1.70. A 35 shot might work nicely from 2500rpm. I did hear that the stock T25 turbo dosen't like nitrous very much and that after a few uses of a 50shot it would fall apart. I think it's great for the track but not that practical for every day street use. It's more streetable with a purge valve, bottle heater, and remote bottle opener. But if your only use it with a warm, full bottle just to go out racing for one night you could do with out all the extra gadgets.

best Nitrous run (75 shot) 11.91@114.4 mph w/1.75 60ft
best 1/4 12.7@105 w/1.81 60ft w/stock cams
I think nano's numbers speak for themselves...
As for the T-25 on nitrous...
I don't think that turbo would like it a lot; given that it's efficiency(sp??) point is lost after the 17psi level...

"goin 120, hit the nitrous, yo...race over"...haha F&F...I've heard nothing but good things....the only bad things I heard has been when people got dumb and blew there shit up.
"your lucky that 100 shot of nos didn't blow the welds on the intake." lmao

I ran nitrous on my 98 Rs for about a month... when its properly installed it is without a doubt great, you beat somethings you never thought you could... but also with it i felt inclined to abuse the privledge and try and beat the types of things that i really shouldn't be able to (ferarri)... so i took it off and i went turbo... all the difference in the world my man, what turbo does to a NA is the same as nitrous to a NA but turbo is generally safer...
Go for it, atleast you will learn something and gain experience in the field... the install is super simple..... mukeyz could do it

See I'm really looking at doing this, but I feel like I'll be cheating. :) I mean I already got a turbo and to add nitrous just doesn't seem fair. But my purpose for it is to help me off the launch more then anything, that's why I'm looking at just a 35 shot.
Oh and if it would help I'll post my current mods.....

I will test out this setup on the 4th of October. Going to be running 20 psi on 100 unleaded, and drag radials up front. I'm hoping for mid to low 13's. But I want 12's for sure, that's why I'm looking at nitrous. Thanks again for all the input and keep it coming.

you say your only looking at 35, but i KNOW you will get addicted and do 50, or dual stage, say 35 to launch then 50 midrange to top it off or so..

Lol. Probably, that's why I'm looking into nitrous. I'm addicted too Horsepower. And I want more. :D And your right I'll probably end up running a 50 shot, but I'd like to start with a 35 shot to be safe.
50? go for 75 :D . You won't regret it.

75 for low end to get ya going usually (atleast in my case) makes you sit there and spin..... but you'd have a helluva trap speed..

Yeah see if I had AWD then I'd go with a 75 shot. But since I'm not I think no more then a 50 shot would work the best. Atleast until I get some slicks. I'm shooting for the 2G FWD A/T record. As it stands right now it's 12.5, I think I can beat that and then some. :D Atleast I hope I can.

Yea our race car A/T 91 GSX us a 50 shot all the way through the 1/4 and went 11.99 at 114 this year with a BB T3T4. The 60 foot time should have been in the low 1.6's but we spun as soon as we went full throttle :) all the way through the 60 foot :) Looks like we have some work to do to get it to hook huh? We love the NOS from the line exp. With the larger turbos. Oh yea by the way we got 2 bar boost at 3000RPM.......woooHOOOOO. I say use it on the auto's :)

Ok another round of questions. How is it to tune with nitrous and a turbo at the same time? I guess you can't just leave the AFC settings the same with nitrous as without, right? Is it pretty steady when tuning comes to play. Meaning no drastic changes are needed through out the usage of nitrous? Thanks again for the input.
On a wet kit you might not have to retune it. On my dry kit I richen things up to +4 sometimes. Depending on weather conditions. If you want to get the most power out of Nitrous your going to have to tune it, Just like anything else. My best 60ft ont the spray was a 1.70. But most time I'm lucky to hit a mid 1.7 since I spin so much. I spin up to 30mph. Then suddenly it grabs past the 60ft line and it just explodes. It's an awsome feeling :D . I calculated my 0-60 and it came out to be 3.1 seconds  . Lots of fun untill something breaks.

Well to be exact I'm looking at the NX wet setup. So it will be a wet system. And hopefuuly you won't break anything for awhile. :)

NX wet kit 20923 is the kit i ran on my car... its a good kit to be honest... picked it up for $450 shipped... used it a bit and sold it for $300 for some easy cash to go turbo.... Straight forward... i ran the nitrous line through the car some go under... much flexibility, as with any kit,.... what ya might want to check into... is the price of a bottle and solenoids, cause you can have hydraulic lines made or steel braided and possibly make a cheaper kit...
