I've been running the "stock" appearing HKS exhaust since '97 and I love the look and the sound but it is starting to rust just like they all do and next season I'm going with a Thermal SS 3 inch. I willl miss the HKS one since people just love to try me thinking I'm just a DSM with some *bling* and a stock exhaust,it even fools other DSMers.

the best one of all... stock!!!!. i will use road race eng style,they use a magnaflow dual tip,i dont like the huge tip stuff. i want to have the sleeper look. i was wondering since iam going with a full exhaust,down pipe,o2,no cat manderal bend,i have heard that iam will boost spike to about 14psi,because of the weak ass wastgate on the stock 14b.is this true? but before i get the exhaust i will up grade the fuel pump so that way the fuel pressure will go up a bit just to be on the safe side. would that even help anything???

i had a custom 3"...it did me well but i went with a apex'i cat back and RRe evo 3 down pipe. setup is great i got to paranoid of it being to loud so i opt'd for the new Apex'i ATS active tail silencer that opens up only when you actually give it gas. love it nice low tone when crusing and screams like a beast when i floor it.

yup, angles out. looks good, sounds excellent, very deep. easy install, only bad if you can't get your stocker off. a blowtorch came in handy for me, just cooked the bolts red hot and took em off. only bolts you need to keep are those on the hangers, and they usually stay in place anyways. i highly reccomend it, only $266 shipped for me.

Home-made mandrel bent 3" mild steel (don't have the wire to weld ss). I have a
bullet muffler after the dp (looks like a cat) and a fart can out back. I had to build an exhaust bc the cops pulled me over when all I had was an open o2 sensor/dp I made (like 15" of total exhaust). The fart can came with a silencer that the cop said my exhaust was "still too loud but i'll sign it anyway".

that was the first exhaust i bought for my 90 fwd, i was not impressed, and replaced it with a thermal a year later, after it rusted through, 8 years on the thermal, stil lovin it.

9 pages and only 1 person talking about doing a cut-out. I have a 2 1/2 downpipe and cat delete and I am completely stock from cat-back, 2 1/4 with dual chrome tips. I'm putting in a electric cut out in . ir should be done ina week or two. I'll post a sound clip when its in.

I just put the apexi n1 on my gsx and i like the sound. It's pretty nice and a low rumble. I personally don't think it sounds like a ricer. I still have to buy the downpipe though.

Lol EBay exhaust. I think it is Tsudo. Actual 3", the only thing I don't like about it is that it routes under the rear axle on my GST rather than over it, so it kind of hangs too low for me.

I'm waiting to see if I'm going to get AWD or not before I actually spend 600+ on exhaust.

I used a Dynomax Ultra-flow SS muffler. Its a straight thru design and it sounds nice, deep and throaty. Love it. :D

I have a thermal.
I loved the way it sounded on other DSM's in our local club and knew from the beginning that I had to have one.
The deep hum sound is awsome! :P
