Well I finally figured why it took so long to powerbrake my car. It ended up being major boost leaks. I mean real huge leaks. When I tried to preasure test the car it wouldn't hold any boost. For starters my nipple on the T28 compressor housing fell off and it was just pouring boost right out before it even went into the pipes. After fixing that it still wouldn't hold any boost.

I also had the nitrous line taped on the rubber UIC. I know not the best way to do it but it was easy at the time. Well after time it craked from the cold nitrous and it was just blowing air right through it. After changing my upper UIC it started to hold boost. But it still leaking from one of the end taks on the supra SMIC. My fault really after I blew it up ones I never found the seal for it. So it's still has a bad boost leak but now I can at least hold boost to redline.

Now I can powerbrake with cams faster then I did with the stock cams. I launches harder too. There's still more turbo lag then with the stock cams. Full boost still dosen't come untill 3400rpm. Car feels so much stronger after getting some of those leaks fixed. It's well worth checking for them.

Here's some vids to show you how it launches now. I also added a vid to show how the cams sound at Idle from the outside. Maybe this might be the reason why some of you had problems power braking. I know it puzzled me for a while.

Wow, did you run your 11.91 @ 114.4 with boost leaks?

Yup, with all three major fraeking leaks. Gtech showed I gained 5mph just from fixing the leaks. It also showed a 21whp encrease on just plain pump gas. I feel like kicking my self for not fixing this problem earlier in the summer. Now the track is closed.

I just fixed my intake leaks and noticed a big difference in power and my EGT's went down!

I wish I had tested my intake before because I have been driving around for about 9 months at 15 psi with the leak on my T-25. Probably took some life off it.

I tried to calculate your 0-60 time and as close as I could come to was about 0-60 in 4.7 seconds. That is phuccin haulin man :)

Shush, now sell my your T28 because I actually asked for it first, but staying on topic, I want to be just like Nano and have a fast car, hopefully I will be able to do that soon :santa:

Well I am working on a loan. So you might be able to have it in the next couple of weeks here. :D

Hmm...Maybe that's my problem too. It takes me forever to brake torque at the line. I've check everything I can think of, but I haven't gone all the way with it. I was just thinking it was my turbo being to laggy. Maybe not. :)

Well I took out and preasure tested my Supra SMIC and it was leaking ten times worse then I thought.. Boost was pouring out of everywhere on the top end tank. After sealing it it pulled quite a bit harder and I had to turn my boost down quite a bit more. I finally got to do another Gtech WHP run. Unfortunately I'be been out with the car all night and the engine was real hot. To my amazement though it showed 275WHP at 19psi on pump gas. I couldn't belive it so I did it multiple times with the same results.
Damm boost leaks where robbing me 37WHP. Car went from 238WHP a few days ago to 275 just from boost leaks! I think my case of leaks where worse then most though. My bad habbit of getho rigging took their toll. If the track was only still open :( .

Well I think I might have figured out what could be causing my brake torque issues. It seems I have an exhaust leak at my O2 housing and Dp connection. Also my DP is smaller then my O2 housing so it is probably causing some back pressure issues, therefor not allowing good spool at low RPM's. I'm ordering a Apexi GT DP and hopefully it will work better after it's installed.
