What kind of turbo timer?

Greddy timers have a grey wire (on the small harness) that is a ground output during countdown. You can use that ground output to trigger a relay coil, and use the relay to send +12v to the parking light circuit (green/white wire on the left side of the center console.. in the cig lighter harness.. wire shows +12v when parking lights are on).

Using a Bosch style 30A automotive relay:

85 +12v
86 grey wire from turbo timer
30 +12v
87 to green/white parking light wire
87a (not used)

If you have a different TT, maybe it also has a wire for ground output during countdown, but I don't know what it is.. you'd have to do some testing w/ the volt meter.

thanks ,but mine is a hks type1 it has three unused wires that lead of the harness a whit a green and red (i think) was wondering if those were like acc. wires or something.hmmm dont know just think it would be safer at night if lights stayed on while car was running do any one know if maybe there is a vfaq thread on how to do this with a type1??????

Use 2 relays.
85 ground
86 to ignition wire coming from the TT
30 +12v
87 grn/wh pk light wire
87a not used

85 ground
86 to ignition wire coming from the TT
30 +12v
87 to car's ignition wire
87a not used

This will isolate the ignition from the pk light wire so that the pk lights do not go on when you turn your key on. Make sure that the TT's ignition wire only goes to the relays.

hmmm,i dont understand why i couldnt just loop a wire from the tt acc. power wire to the parking light wire that way the lights would always come on not that it is a problem for some reason it is habit that i turn my park lights on whenever i ride...why dio i have to use a relay what a bout a fusible link in between the tt and the park light wire for saftey??just wondering usally im pretty good with electronics i run a 10,000 watt radio station but yet im being beat down by my 12v car..yikes,,anyway thanks for all the help..

You don't need the relays if you don't care about the parking lights always coming on whenever you turn the key on.
