i see you pulled the center caps off your wheels...dont they look so much better? i did the same thing shortly after the last meet i went to and havent put them back on. car looks awesome man keep it up.
also what size are your wheels? mine are 17s and i was wondering what mine would look like on a 2g spyder (possibly my next car) and also, have you had any problems with your wheels like flat spots, dings, dents ect? i have a couple of flat spots and i was wondering if you had any of the same problems, thanks

Actually, I had the center caps on forever, and one of them came off, and I was like f*** it, and left them off. I really do like the look of them without the centercaps.
My wheels are 18's. I have not had any problems with flat spots, dings, or dents.
Thanks for the compliments.

That's a real nice looking car, just make sure you don't go cruisin' around with a bunch of guys. That's the gayest thing I've ever seen (4 dudes stuffed in a convertible).

As I'm learning;)
But seriously, I saw a silver convertible GS with 4 guys crammed in it last weekend. There may as well have been a huge rainbow sticker on the bumper.

that is fricking sexy man.
I love black sports cars.
It doesn't accentuate the body lines nearly as much but there is nothing that looks as sexy as a clean black sports car.
damn I've seen two of the sexiest 2G's in the past three days on these forums.
Honestly yours ranks right up there with the guy with the skyline front bumper.
Also, have you considered getting custom dual tip mufflers?
I think the dual tips that aim up a bit at the tips look really really good on Spyders.

Thanks, I appreciate it.
The drop is roughly 1.75 to 2 inches with the Tokico Springs and Shocks package from www.machv.com.
I have had the chin spoiler on for a couple of days and have not scratched it yet. Don't worry, I will though.

Nice car, seems very low though. Can't tell with the grass. I'd tear that up if I wear driving it.

wow it looks awesome. As a spyder owner i appriceate it so much more. I've never seen a spyder w/ the center taillight piece painted but i really want to do it now. Do you have any pics of your wheel gap? i'm going to be running the same set up (dropped 2 inches on 18's) and wanted to get an idea. Thanks

Man, dude, sorry. I don't have any close ups. Let's say the wheelgap is non-existent :)
I snapped these pictures RIGHT before I got back on the road to head back to Knoxville, Tennessee, to come back to school...
I'll get some for you next weekend.
The wheels are RS Limited Ricochets. 18x7.5

how can u say that? there is nothing better than a CLEAN (nearly stock looking even) FAST car.....personally the only visual additives to any DSM needed are : wheels, rmdsm chin, and if u count exhaust and intercooler as visuals (cus they look so nice) ...........

I like it! I LIKE IT ALOT!!
Man I never realized how bad my allergies could get until my first spring with the Spyder (UB-pronounced Ubie-means U.nfaithful B.itch) I love her, though they could have given us rwd instead of that useless back seat (they could have just put the hump there).
BTW, where did you get the chin guard.
ihatemycar

i beleive the chin is exclusively sold from RMDSM

Yeah, the chin spoiler is from www.rmdsm.com Excellent piece of work and it was an easy install.
I wish for RWD too, and my big ass won't even come CLOSE to fitting in that back seat.
Winter is coming soon, so I'm sad :( No top down for a little while. Time to order FMIC, AGP L2R and supporting mods. :)
I'll keep you guys updated.

Hey cucumber, where did you get your gauge bezels? I drive a 97 gst spyder and ordered mine from lotek and they didn't fit at all so I sent them back.
Let me know cause yours look like they fit really well. Oh, nice ride btw.

Did you get the pillar pod made for the spyder? I got mine from lotek too. They made a limited batch of triple pillar pods for the spyder i.e. 15-20. Mine fits DECENT, but no better. IM me if you have any more questions.

Cool, thanks man, maybe that's what happened, they didn't send me a pod for the spyder. It was a tripler pillar pod but it didn't fit at all, it looked fugly.
I'll probably give them a call and see if they can send me a spyder one. Thanks.

You might have to settle for a double pillar pod. They aren't making the triple ones anymore.
I could be wrong though. Doesn't hurt to ask.

That's cool, I think I would rather want a dual pillar pod anyways cause I only have my boost gauge now. I'm gonna have to give them a call and find out. Wonder if I can take it somewhere to have them install it.
I don't wanna screw anything up. I installed the last one but had to get a new stock pillar because I had to drill holes in it for the lotek one and it ended up look like shit.
