i recently purchased a tubular 2g manifold from south florida performance, paid 400$. its the biggest peice of shit it ever seen. impossible to attach to turbo, flanges way to thin, holes look like they were cut by a blind guy, and it sits the turbo in the wrong spot. downpipe hits the transfer case. but other than that its great, stay away from anything that place has to offer.

I purchased a manifold from SFP last year and am very pleased with the product. I ordered it for my 91 tsi with a T04 exhaust flange. All flanges are 1/2 inch thick.. access to all the bolt positions is very good. The tubing they used is very thick which should hold up very well. I was also impressed with how they merged the headpipes into the collector area. I have made many tuning passes with the manifold and so far no cracking no leaking no problems. I think for the money it was a good buy. Of course my turbo flange is for a Garrett T04 which is quite a bit larger than a Mitsu.. so there is alot more room to work with. You can see a not so good picture of it on my car at http://fp.enter.net/~weshess

I have to agree with HighPsi91 about the SFP manny. It may not be the best looking or require the least amount of work, however, I do give it credit for helping hit 15 psi at 3200rpms with the oh so dreaded HRC 20g with the "slow spooling" 10cm^2 housing. Think about fluid dynamics and how the factory exhaust manifold is shaped. It takes all of the runners and makes a nice little 90deg bend into a rather small collector area. The SFP manifold allows a smooth transition and larger merge area so that the gas has alot less turbulance and flow restrictions leading into the turbine. There are alot things you can buy for $365-$475 that can make a little more power, but the SFP manifold is well worth the price and effort if you want whip ass with a big turbo and not suffer from too much lag.

id get the new manifolds from hahnracecraft. they look just like the 2g but they have huge runners, cast, and have a smoother rounder bending runner into the turbo.

They look like Turbonetics manifolds to me.

yea, i think they might be, but the price is a little to high for me
