We picked the car up on Long Island yesterday. What was even better was that we stopped at a pizza place for lunch afterwards and ended up running into Gary from Mitsubishi Graveyard. he got to check out the car and then we all had lunch together.
Here's a few of my Eclipse:

lol, yep, if you're refering to my Eclipse, its stock. Actually, I just ordered a system from Certified Muffler (I guess they're called BentPipes now), but it won't be here for a few more weeks. I'll be sure to post some pics once its on.
my dad is trying to find some custom plates, but all the good cheesy ones are gone. :)

I believe it uses a Volvo V6. 130HP My Mirage is almost that good! lol
I don't think my dad will let me get my hands on it. I'll try to remember to get engine pics too.

Don't take it over 88mph!!!!! :D

Hey ikickuintheball, do you go to mitsu graveyard a lot? I bought a TPS from him and he seems like a cool guy.

I haven't gone yet. Sayville isn't a short drive, and since I'm unemployed right now, I can't really drive too far because of gas. Once I get a job I'm getting the t-belt done.

Cool a DeLorean,so can you take it back in time to Sept. '98 and tell me not to race my car with a 2600lb clutch with no break-in done to it or better yet go back to '97 and tell me to buy a ACT 2600 and skip the 2100? (it didn't last 50 drag launches)

P.S. Sorry,I had to milk the BTTF references.

haha, thanks for the comments guys. I wish I could go back in time and do some things over :P

The first time we went down to check out the car we stopped in at the graveyard and talked to Gary for awhile. he's a really great guy, and he drives a black GVR4! (can't go wrong with that) :D

I love DeLoreans, I looked at one before the Talon, heheh...

Looks like you've got some custom seats in there.

2.85L rear engine V6. Too bad the twin turbo version never got released.

In another thread, I was looking at an engine pic of yours and saw an external wastegate? :dunno:

I love those DeLoreans! A guy not far form here had one one time. He couldn't ever get it to run exactly right because it had set up for a while before he purchased it. If I remember right.. since it was stainless steel.. he would wash it with a scuffpad!

I heard a few years back DeLorean was going to try to build a new car. guess it never came through :dunno:

I have a friend who's uncle owns a 1982 DeLorean (among many others) that has under 2000 original miles. I think he bought it new in '82 for about $20,000. I would think it has got to be worth nearly double that now, wouldn't you?

Most DeLoreans I see are going for really no more than $25k and I've even seen 'em for around $15k.

Yeah, but with under 2000 original miles?

according to www.nadaguides.com, high retail is 24,000 and if they're restored by DMC (with 2000 miles I hope it doesn't need to be!) it's worth as much as 34,000.

I wonder how much a flux capacitor would up the cost? Or if you did an engine swap to a Mr. Fusion? :)
