My first car was my 90 GS and then I moved up to my 97 GS. This infuriates my father as he has worked for General Motors for 30+ years building Grand Prixs.. The bad thing is that I can't visit him at work and bring my car because the employees there will key it.. severely.

My first car was a red '71 Malibu which my stepfather crushed with a front-end loader and took to the local scrapyard for $20. I wasn't old enough to drive it to school yet, but I drove it around loud and proud on the back roads. :D

Then there was the pickle-green Dodge Dart that I can't even remember the year of. Then I had a blue '73 Camaro I was going to restore with my brother, but in a moment of severe desperation sold it. Took a step down in HP and got an '84 Buick Regal 'cause it was all they had that I could afford and I needed wheels fast. It's ready for the junkyard along with the '84 Ford LTD, which was blown this past December. Tooooooo many miles.

I think it's safe to say, after having all of these other cars, that I fell in love with my DSM from the second I drove it. This list of previously owned cars is pretty... mortifying. I don't even think I should post this... :o

My first car was a 84 or 85 Plymouth Turismo. My dad got it for me for like 600 in 1993. Anyway we bought it from the original owner and he said it was turbo. I didnt know anything about cars at the time so I just drove it. Supposedly it had some sort of Shelby engine/package. It didnt last too long after some dumbass friend of mine put diesel in it.
The other cars I've owned are a 87 Buick Skyhawk, 89 Accord, and now the Talon.

I don't understand this. The DSMs were made in the good ol' USA, Normal Illinios to be exact. The employees there are part of the UAW union, just like your Dad. Sure, many parts in the DSMs are made over seas but I guarantee the Grand Prixs have them too.

My wifes first car " the blue bomber" she had when she was 15-16 for a beater car her dad bought her. It was a 1996 Pontiac Grand AM and it was the biggest peice of shit in the world. We gave it to her mother and that woman destroyed the heater core, the ac, all the fuses, and the rack and pinion gears.

My wifes car now she got when she was 17, a fully Paid for 2004 Chevorlet Cavalier Sedan. All I did to it was a KnN filter, Ceramic Pads, and red pedals and red interior paint. Other than the oil changes, we got about 60K miles on it now.

1984 Honda CRX with 140,000 miles. I sold it when the wheel fell off for no apparent reason going 35mph.

My first car was my 1999 Eclipse GS that I owned for a little over 3 years... sold it in October to wait to find a GSX.

Now I'm driving my mom's old 1997 Olds 88 that she gave to me. Her and my dad pay for everything for it so I really can't complain. Plus, being at college and having to park out in the parking lot, I don't freak out if there's a ding or scratch on it. It's not too shabby in the winter either.

I also have a 1967 Pontiac Tempest convertable in the garage at home that's going to be mine when I graduate college (in 2011 haha) but I'm trying to talk my parents into selling it since it sits 9 months out of the year and I want a GSX.

78 Grand Wagoneer, Blue with wood, neutrel dropped one nite and broke output shaft in tranny.

84 Celebrity, had to get in and out from the pass side, had wiring problems (small fire) Apartments I lived in at the time put a notice on it, it needed to be moved so they can repave the lot, they hauled away for free.:banana:


85 Crx again, beater, busted ass windsheild with hair still stuck in it, on the hwy the carpet would float over 70mph, lil rust in the floor.


91 Seville, new whitewalls, clean car bought for $1000 sold for $2000.

91 240sx, had the twin cam engine. Fun to drive/loose control. Totalled car with 148,000 miles and a rattilng timing chain.

94 Integra Ls, Never buy a car with a salvage title, or atleast dont plan on getting rid of it easily. Black with white 17's, CUT springs, dc ceramic header, exhaust, tires that would last 6 months!! Had clutch replaced, then ripped out a lower ball joint in an Advance auto parking lot ruining fender in the process, fuck that car.

93 Talon Tsi(current) bought it with 58,000 miles from orig owner.

73 F-100 Ranger Xlt(current) needed a hauler.

Back when I was in minis I had a body dropped mazda, bagged s10, slammed c10. That got old fast cause they was slow. So I got my 95 Eclipse Gs which wasnt fast but was quicker than the trucks. Now I have a 95 Gs and a 99 Rs.

First car was a 94 Toyota Paseo with the 1.5 DOHC 4cyl and while it wasnt the fastest thing on the block it handled like a little go-car with a 2100lb curb weight.

2nd car was 2000 Hyundai Elantra 5 speed with the Mitsu 4G63 2.0 in it. Aem intake, 1.8 cam, ud pulley, no ac, short throw shifter, high flow cat with 2.25 exaust, 15in lightweight wheels, tb coolant mod, h&r springs, strut brace... the car would run a 16sec flat with just the intake and never could push much faster cause with the other mods cause of the wheel hop, overaul car would pull hard for NA 2.0.
