Installing an alarm.. I gotta connect a wire from the alarm somewhere to get the parking lights to come on when the alarm goes off (+12v). I read that it should be connected to the parking light relay, but I cant find it for the life of me! Any suggestions? Maybe I can hook it up somewhere else?
Thanks

Wire Magic does not list your car.
Since you have to install a siren, meaning that you must penetrate the firewall, run your parking light wire trigger out too. Remove a parking light cover, and find the wires leading to the parking light itself. Test with a computer safe testlight for a wire that gets hot when the parking lights are turned on, and tap into it there.
Wire magic does list the '91 Eagle Talon, and the parking light wire is listed as a green/white wire in the fuse panel.
Hope I've helped!

Thanks for the info!
I read the same thing on the green/white wire, but there are so damn many wires.. I spent a good portion of the day tapping into the door lock/unlock (it worked for a little bit, then stopped working :-\ )
I think it would be easier to just route it thru the firewall (and that was a pain in and of itself). I got the door triggers working except for the trunk, but my pin switches are junk.. sometimes they work, sometimes they dont..
Then I gotta debug the starter disable (I hooked it up as per the manual and I can still start my car when it is armed.. go figure).
Ah well, thanks!

King - use green/white on drivers side of center console, the white 4 pin connector that runs out to the cig lighter. Green/white is the +12v pk light circuit, verify with meter to make sure you've got it right.
You don't have to tap in at the pk light relay, you can hit the pk light circuit anywhere and it will power all of the pk lights. Euro cars with separate left/right pk light circuits are the only ones you have to watch out for on this.
You can probably find the green/white wire at the fuse panel, but there will be a few other wires of that color over there, so it's a bit easier to just use the one on the side of the console.
On the lock/unlock... brown/white is lock, brown/blue is unlock. These are the low current ground-pulse wires, located behind the fuse panel.
On the starter disable... 99% of the time you're using a normally closed (NC) starter disable... if you run your coil positive wire to the wrong side of the relay, your relay won't click over until the starter has already received power... and since it's a NC circuit, the starter will always work. Needs to be like this:
85 KEY side of starter wire and ANODE of diode
86 ground-when-armed output from alarm brain and CATHODE of diode
30 KEY side of starter wire
87a CAR side of starter wire
Check to make sure your ground-when-armed wire is hooked up right (check for ground when armed with your meter)... and make sure you have the positive coil wire working off of the KEY side of the starter wire, not the CAR side.
Last possibility is that you hooked the positive coil wire up to an +12v source that is not hot during cranking. I have used the key side of the starter wire for all of my installs... it's simple and it works. Use the above diagram and it will work.
