60 Delta FLow FlowMaster Muffler

Would a 60 Delta Flow Flowmaster muffler sound good on a 1990 Eclipse 1.8L?

i have it on my 95 eclipse nt and i have been very pleased it has a low rumble sounds better than any other ive heard...basically you dont fart like a honduh!So i think youll like the sound...

It sound kind of good but it makes this rattle noise until I hit 40 mph.

mine did too until i installed a test pipe no cat is the way to be!!!

I dont have a cat in my car. I went to a welder and had it totaly removed and Instaled a direct pipe to conect for the part that the cat was in. And it still makes that freaking noise.

damn i dont know what to tell you then maybe it just difference in motors i have 2.0 u have mandrel bent tubing all way through th noise is restriction somewhere i believe...other than that i dont know what to tell you mine sounds wonderful at idle cruisin whatever...

Im thinking of selling it and buying a hooker powerflow would that sound better?

Tha last problem is that when i reve it up and let go of the gas it makes this fart canon sound how would that be eliminated, I heard other cars reve it up and not make that sound?

Alright, I'm not 100% on this one, but I've heard it said before, the popping sound that comes from an exhuast when you let off the throttle is unburnt gas leaving the exhuast valve, and burning up in the pipe. Mine does it too, but I don't know if I could really describe it as a "fart cannon" as you dubbed it, (LOL), but it's not the greatest sounding thing when you try to rev at a redlight to intimidate some douche bag in a civic. I've been thinking about just going all out and getting an Apex'i N1 Dunk muffler...you simply cannot go wrong with an Apex. (other than financially!)
