hi yall...check out my friend's car. It is a Proton Wira (Mitsui Lancer) . Originally it has a 4G93T (1.8 turbo aka Lancer GSR- ).
This is not your normal mitsui Turbo car. It has a MIVEC head from a 4G92(1.6 na) . Evreything including the wiring and ECU is from 4G93T. MIVEC kicks in at around 4500 rpm (MIVEC + force induction = haven). Apexi RSM induction output is used to power up the MIVEC selenoid. This car is in Malaysia and kicks ass. I've no idea how many ponnies it has.

probably becoz Proton Wira is based on the Lancer MX that came out the same year as the GVR4

Yeah, and putting the air filter behind the battery also reminds me of the GVR4. Worst placement I have ever seen on an air filter :)

you guys didnt know of the proton wira? they have a rally car too its a nice car indeed, and yes its awd its looks a bit the evoIII too

yes it's an AWD,


K_Mans_TSI , I've tried to fit the valve cover to a 4G63 head....it is impossible to fit, probably because the DOCH 4g92 head is much smaller in size.

i wonder if you can fit a mivec head / valve cover on our 4g63 blocks, and then stroke it back to 2.1 liter or so with a big thick head gasket

mmm...mivec turbo.


not as mmm as vvti twin turbo supra though.

back in teh day, the MIVEC put out 175 hp, from a 1.6, but mitsu decided to go after GDI, gasoline direct injection nice.
