View Full Version : Some pics of my exhaust.

Well, I finally got my exhaust on. It is a 2.5" to the flex and then expands to 3" back. The muffler is a Magnaflow 14828 and the sound is amazing. Really deep and sounds like a friggin V8. At cruising speeds it is just a bit louder than stock. But when you get on it, its loud and mean. Enough talk, on to the pics.

Some of the pictures are shitty quality because I turned the setting to really low to keep the file size small for slower modems.

Badass exhaust man! Not too flashy and just enough power...I was looking to go the exact same route with size and stealthiness...who made your exhaust?

I got a local shop to do it. Total cost of the full exhuast with muffler and work only cost $350-375.

how big is that tip? 3 inches? 4? either way it looks MUCH better than stock. did you get pressbent pipes or mandrel?

and i notice you're from mobile. ever come to panama city much? i asked in the other post you made but guess you didn't see it. oh well. anyway, nice pics. laters!

Thanks for the comments. Its a 4" tip. Smallest I could find with a 3" inlet that I liked.

Test pipe and mandrel bent.

stevo you should get a sound clip of your exhaust so we can hear it. i love the way it looks and would be interested in putting it on my GST if the sound is good. do you have a laptop or anything? if so you could just use a mic and sound recorder and grab a sound clip. that would rule.

I will try to see what I can do as far as a sound clip goes...lemme ask my bro and see what he has that I can record it on. I might be able to get one up tonight, so check back later on.

yeah, a sound clip would be good :D or even a video or something of the car driving around would be even better. cause then we get to see it and hear it.

LOL, i am here.

I tried using a recorder but it sounded like shit...

Imma borrow my friends laptop and use it, probally this weekend.

so uhhhh stevo its been like a few weeks and uhm theres like no sound or video clip. whats the deal? uhhhmmmm seriously though i wanna know what it sounds like cause this very well may be the deciding factor wether i sell my GST or not.

well some of us met in pensacola tonight and we got to see his car. sounded pretty good. too bad there's still no sound clip up. but at least i know what it sounds like :D

Here's the best I could do last night. It was my friend "racing" a camaro. Eric (1G AWD) didn't even bother trying very hard.

thanks for that clip imoore i couldnt really hear it that well but what i heard i liked. if you could get one of your friend just sitting and idling then revving to like 4-5k i would really appreciate it.

Well, Eric hit a deer on the way to my house tonight (he lives about 45 minutes away) so I didn't see him and I don't know when I will soon.

As soon as I see him again, I'll try to record something for you.
