I read that the E-Ram filter replacement works pretty well for about a pound of boost at full throttle...has anyone tried that??

Please explain to me how in the world you could possibly get boost out of a filter. If you don't have some form of forced induction on your car, boost isn't possible. You will only be reading vacuum.

I don't know, it's just the piece behind the filter, kicks on at full throttle, and they call it "boost" at their site, but I was thinking the same thing, it can't be boost. I think it's just a small turbine before the intake pipe, between that and the filter, that's all.
