? about Apexi intake

For anyone who has installed the Apexi Power Intake, where do the 2 L shaped brackets go? I cant figure it out and the Japenese instructions it came with dont really help me any.

Yeah I had the same problem. I ended up buying an L bracket and fabricating it to work for me. Now I have the cold air box around the filter so the bracket is not needed.

You think they would have relized by now that there brackets make no sense. I mean they arnt even close. No matter which way you put them they dont even come close to fitting.
