I've noticed that the 4g64 is in the 7g galant and also the 3g eclipse gs. Could I just get a turbo kit for one of these cars and put it on mine, or would it not fit?? Thanks

Thanks The 3G eclipse 4G64 sits 180 degrees from ours (timing belt sits next to the passenger side of the car instead). The 7G galant is much closer, but still has some differences in the engine compartment geometry. Anyway... I don't think anyone makes a kit for the 7g Galant anyway.

As was mentioned, take a look at my website. It pretty much describes how you can make your own kit for a much cheaper price, and it will be much better components than any "kit" I've ever seen.

Thanks, I checked out the page. I definitely won't be able to do that myself. And I don't think any of the shops near me are capable either. I'm at a loss here. I definitely want to do this, but I think I am still to new to do it myself. Any suggestions?

The first step to responsible engine upgrades is being able to recognize when you are over your head. Too many morons out there throw whatever mods they want on their car with NO clue what they are doing.

However, my guess would be that just about any decent automotive shop could take my parts list, and bolt it to a car. THe hardest part is doing the custom intercooler piping. However, if you have a 97+ Spyder, then you can use stock piping. It really isn't as hard and as big of a project as it seems.

Well, thanks. You've made me feel a little better. I was starting to think I wasn't going to be able to get this done. I'll start making some calls. I want to get this done before next summer. I've definitely been saving up for it long enough, haha.
