Just wanted to thank my boy, Tyler, for letting me use his account since I am unable to register here(Says "new users are not accepted" or something when I try to make a account.).

Here is my problem.
I own a 1991 Eagle Talon TSi FWD, and need a new ECU.
I found a few for sale, but they are either AWD ECUs or Automatic ECUs, need to know if thier is a difference between the:

Automatic, Manual, AWD, FWD - ECUs (All turbos)

I'm using a 1990 AWD ECU for my FWD & it works just fine. As long as it's the same year it should work ok. But i made sure this ecu was from a 5-speed dsm just to be certain.

You can use any ECU from a 91' to 94' manual tranny turbo car. It doesn't matter if it's from an AWD or from a FWD. Don't get an AT turbo ecu, since those have different fuel maps and parameters. You may also use a 90' FWD or AWD tranny turbo ECU. You just need to swap two wires to make it work...;)
