Hey!

Does someone know the difference between a D20 and a D22A? I was able to find previously no explanation.

Thanx,
cxx

Never heard of D20...but I believe D22a is the chassis code for 1G's...I know that D32a or D33a is the chassis code for 2G's.

Somewhere in this forum, I found (long time ago) following statements:

D21A 1.8 Liter 1G FWD NA
D22A 2.0 Liter 1G FWD NA and T
D27A 2.0 Liter 1G AWD T
D31A 2.0 Liter 2G FWD NA
D32A 2.0 Liter 2G FWD T
D33A 2.0 Liter 2G AWD T
D38A 2.0 Liter 2G Spyder FWD T
D39A 2.4 Liter 2G Spyder FWD T
D52A 2.4 Liter 3G FWD NA
D53A 3.0 Liter 3G FWD NA

d22a - turbo 1g - i think its all 90's
d27a - turbo 1g - 91's
d31a - nt 2g
d32a - 95-96 turbo
d33a - 97-99 2g turbo
d38a - spyder

Here in Germany, two versions of 1Gs (all non-turbo) exist: D22A and D20. And previously nobody could tell me the difference.

Greets,
