just wondering what kind of times you guys think i can run on my 95 tsi fwd here is a list of mods 16gkillerportedandclipped10degrees,portedo2housing,upgraded sidemount,2.5turboback,nocat,extremeuip,typesbov,hksintake, walbro255,mbc@18psi,unorthadoxpulleys,allfreemods,acellwires,ngkrplatinums,eibachsprings,tokikoillum inas....and lots of cosmetics.....anyway i'd appreciate the help thanks

Frist off you have the WRONG plugs. see how far you can skip them across the road :D

Stay with the $2 plugs trust me
BPR7es and gap between .028-.030 tune with EGT ( I see that isn't listed. if you don't have one you need one.)

Porting willmake the difference. on the top end and no down pipe will hurt you also. One mans porting is anothers joke so it's very hard to say. With the mods listed I see you have NO fuel control and this will be a limiting factor. No way to tune the car to get power from it. Possable 13's from it IMHO untill you finish up the combo and do a lot more tuning work

Go to the Track and find out. You can't judge a cars 1/4 mile time by the modifications it has. Most of it depends on the driver especially in a FWD. For instace you might take it to the track and get a best of a 13.5, there are better drivers out there that could get a best time of 13.0 or a worse driver that could get a 14.3. Lots of cosmetics? Like a heavy body kit or a wing? That would slow times down a bit.

i do have a 2.5 extremedp as for the body kit it actually is lighter than stock also no impactbar,rear of car stripped clean......just looking for estimates....any guesses? oh yea the tracks closed just tryin to see what i'm in for.

I agree with RDY2RACE 13's mid to upper without tuning.

my best guess would be that 13's are possible if you know how to launch correctly. Get some Nitto 555r to lower the 60' times.

i like the way my car runs now don't really want to mess it. runs awesome.....also can i crank the boost up with race gas if so what does everyone suggest....thanks again

I bet if you take out those POS plugs and tune it with SAFC/550/egt/datalogger it will run even better.

I'm suprised you don't have fuel cut. Unless one of your free mods were to take out the HC's. If so... I see high 13s w/o tuning and at least mid 13s with.

POS? WHAT"S THAT MEAN? never had fuelcut, my a/f gauge reads full rich at wot so does that mean i can turn up the boost? also i didn't remove any honeycombs....pos=piece of $hit ? WHY?

Don't trust the A/F gauge at WOT. Get an EGT b4 you melt a piston or 2. He said POS cuz they are, just get some plain BPR7ES's. The platinums are a total waste of $$. Don't mess w/your honeycombs until you get an afc. If you're running 18psi w/no afc, all kinds of bad stuff is happening inside your engine that you don't know about. If you don't believe me, datalog a wot run or 2.

Exactly what boosteddsm said... don't tune just from your A/F. What you really need is EGT then datalog your knock and timing to REALLY do anything.

SAFC isn't hard, it is worth the money. $300 from Buschur.

I guess it's hard to compare FWD vs AWD, but for what its worth...

I think your engine makes a bid diff, too. Did you ever run it stock? For some reason, there are motors that come out of the factory that are just slower.. tolerance issues? I don't know..

Anyway, I have a 91 AWD, 95 poorly ported mani, ported (and cracked 16G), ported 1G 02, 2.5" mandrel dp, press bent dp back. K&N, free mods, fuel pump, MBC, ACT 2600

I run a 13.7@99mph on ~15psi. Granted my comp wheel is GNARLED, I get 15psi at 4000rpm, but that really is only an issue at launch, and possibly .05-.1 loss between shifts. Plus my wastegate flapper doesn't completely cover the hole.. I think my turbo may be putting out 18psi and I'm only seeing 15 at the manifold... damn, i need a new turbo :)

FWIW, FWD are great for freeway racing, but are just dogs (with same mods, in my experience) in the 1/4. My buddy has a 98GST which he ran to a 15.1@93mph stock (good motor). After fuel pump, AFC +honeycombs removed, 2.5" turbo back, intake, free mods, boost controller (on t-25) set to 19psi and Nitto 555R's and a RPS Turbo clutch he ran a 14.6@100mph on a 2.01 60ft.

My old 95AWD with just intake and exhaust ran a 14.6@93mph

I have run a best of 12.07 @ 115.14 on a 16g. Oops, I have never used an EGT. Better get one with this T4 thingie now under the hood.

I think based on his modds high 13's are very possible. I went to the tract for the first time this yr to see what my car was capable of running. Mods: 2.5exh/w/cat,light..flywheel,uicp,intake, free mods, ngk p, acc wires,dp,and 14psi. I ran a best of 13.7@98mph w/1.7 60ft. In addition, stock cracked exh mani, stock O2, no fuel contr and 14B. So hope this help shed some light on your question.
