I just wanted to check with you guys( the intelligent ones) but is there any chance of damage to the vehicle if i have it completely off of the ground and let it be in gear. The reason is i have a weird ringing sound when im coasting and I want to be able to take the wheels off and let it simulate coasting to try and figure out where it is from. I know this is silly, but Ive been trying to get things back together for a week, i get it almost done, and then this stupid noise. thanks for your time.

just like if u get your car airborne, car just revs faster cuz there is nothing to slow down the drivetrain, no friction from the road surface, etc.
