: where do you have your pocket logger hook-ups?

here is how I did mine. I pulled out the little change thing and ran the cable up and over the steering colum (in the dash of course) I made a little plastic plate out of some clear plastic I bought at lowes and painted it black on the inside. I wet sanded the outside of the plastic to make it like a matte finish to match the rest of the interior. That is how I did my boost gauge mount too. Who wants a damn stereo any how!

Here is my setup :

I plan on actually routing the wire internally, but as of right now my dash is all torn up for a redesign i'm working on, and my pocketlogger is having issues, but keep watchin the site 4g64.com!

Mine's just ghetto velcroed to my dash.

technically mine's ghetto as the synch base is "velcroed" to the dash also, which has it a little too high up, but that's being fixed on the remodeling ;)

I really like terrible's idea and have a permanent port and may have to rip..er,I mean borrow his idea.;)

I was starting to wonder what happend to my thread!

There is no such thing as ripping me off. Just make sure you show everyone who askes you how to do it the right way. (let 'em know who show'ed ya)

The only problem is every now and then some one will get in the car in the passangers seat and yank the cord to unplug it :realmad:

I am going to try and find some good glue to hold it in the litte ridge it sits on. So far shoe goo, silicone rtv, or cyanacrilate glues wont work (super glue) Any suggestions? I would like to make it screw in there some how but it'd be a bitch to get a tool or anything else under it some how

My ash tray is removed with the connector at the bottom. A Palm III fits perfectly inside the ash tray.

This works for all 2G's (and probably 1G's from what I see above) :D

it doesnt work for 1g's. Mine is hanging off the vent via a black anodized piece of aluminum, proffesionally bent and cut to my dimensions :)

I have another one if anyone wants one for $10 + shipping ;)

my dad works at a place that can bend and cut aluminum, so i had him make me a few.

I had mine hard mounted off the screws behind the trim piece on the dash. It would bounce around too much so I just let it sit on the passanger seat or in my lap. Not great for on the fly viewing but it'll work in a pinch.

oh yeah 1994eclpise, I just finished putting some jb weld on that piece. hope it holds. That stuff doesn't mix well in 30 degree wether!
