A tow hook is required at all track events. Besides that, if you ever get a lowered car towed you'll know why a tow hook very necessary. Besides that, the Eclipse doesn't have any front (or rear) tow points. :)

Where did you buy the tow ring? I went thru all that bullshit of having a lowered car being a royal pain in the ass to get towed, not fun.

IGS: Car looks good. I also have a black 2G with CF hood & pins. Good taste!

For some reason these things are really hard to find.

I bought it online at CarPro.

I'd definitely paint it black cause it kind of sticks out, literally.

I bet AAA would really like me to install one of those on my car. :D

I def. understand what you guys are saying about towing, I hate getting my ride towed, flatbed truck or not!!! I've been wanting to get two(one on both sides) for a while. plus they will look nice on my 1g, but im sure there will be a few "haters" out there!LOL!

You obviously don't drive your car hard. I do and I have AAA's number memorized. :) Mostly it's from practicing my road racing skills. Thankfully I'm getting better. :D What's the point of having a high powered sports car if you drive it slow. :o

O, I love the widebody kit on the BMW.

than you obviously have some serious problems with your ride, i beat my cars ass back and forth all day, and ive yet to have more than a burnt clutch, and ripped timing belt "knocks on wood" as long as you know how to maintain your car, your good, and if i see something going bad i change it before it has the chance ;)

Also, I seriously doubt you beat on your car more than I do. And I don't make a lot of money so I can't fix stuff right away and after a day of fixing other peoples cars I don't feel like working on mine to. It's not like I let small problems turn into big problems, I just don't worry about stuff that I know will last a while without a problem. :P

I like the rx7. :D

How do you actually get an 2g gsx on a flatbed? how is it pulled on the truck when the eclipse don't have any towing hooks?
I'm from Norway, every car has a towing hook in europe, so I've never thought of it...

There are tow hook points behind the front wheels in the frame and in front of the back wheels in the frame. I drive a tow truck so I know.
