Pinstripe Removal?

Hey everyone...my 91 TSi Red Talon has these silver pin stripes along the side of the car. I dont really like them that much and I want to remove them. Any suggestions about how to go about this? I really do not want to screw up the paint or anything. Thanks!

Use a heat gun! It basically is a souped up hairdryer that gets much hotter. Pull the pin stripe off as you slowly heat it up and "walk" down the length of the car. This is the correct way. You can probably rent one at a tool rental place, but I'm not sure. Do not use a razor blade.

Body shops also have a small wheel that they put into a drill. It is basically like a round eraser that when applied spinning to the pin stripe it just strips it off. It works like a charm. :)
