I hear its not so much the initial cost but the cost of refilling the bottle because it becomes addictive! lol :D

how much of a shot?

Yeah, Nitrous is relatively cheap at first, but filling a 10lb bottle can cost anywhere from 30-50 dollars, and if you're like me, I would be refilling it at least once a week :)
No thanks, I would stick with plans for turbo...but if you like the idea, and that is a 50-75 shot he is selling you, then go for it. That is a good price as long as the kit is complete.

It depends what kind of kit/ setup. What car did he have it on????

What about your manifold.....I haven't really looked into nitrous that much so I don't know if the "kit" comes with a new manifold. But for $240 if it comes with a 50 to 75 shot of nitrous with maniflod it seems like a good deal. Do you need a new manifold for a 50-75 shot? I don't even know.... I'd probably do it, if my heart wasn't set on a turbo :D

DON'T GO HIGHER THAN A 75 SHOT ON STOCK INTERNALS.....

Just curious, why would the kit come with the new manifold? Im sure you can drill and tap some nozzle(s) in the stocker.
Id definatly buy N2O for a NT car, I would love to get my hands on a black 92 TSi NT, id drop in some big bones, forged high compression slugs, full farkin race cams along with other supporting mods and a kick arse nitrous kit from NOS.
you havea 95 which means you SHOULD be able to run a dry setup but check under your hood to make sure it says OBD-I, because a friend told me that some of the later-manufactured 95s are OBD-II(which have to run wet/direct)

The thing it boils down to of weather or not you can run a dry kit is this. %99 of 95 N/T's have a vacuume fuel pressure regulator which is needed to run a dry kit. (yes it can be determined by OBD1 vs. 2) You cannot run a dry kit on a 96+ N/T it has to be a wet kit because they don't use that type of regulator and it is back by the fuel pump vs. in the engine bay like the 95's.
As for the manifold question no they do not come with a new intake manifold, on a dry kit it is tapped into the vacuum line on the fuel pressure regulator, on a wet kit it is tapped directly into the intake pipeing a little ways away from the intake plenum. (yes you would have to drill a hole in your AEM if it is OBD II.)
The only way you would need to drill any holes into the actual intake manifold is if it is a direct port system.
One hole for each runner.
ohh and he's right, don't run either setup over a 75 shot on stock internals, go boom!
Hope this helps

DSM STORM:
I have a buddy who put nitrious in his Civic SI but when he did it he had to buy a new manifold. I wasn't sure if this held true to all nitrous application. I dunno what really comes with a nitrious kit or a second hand kit. Anyways that's why I was asking about the manifold.

hey if i replaced the stock internals on my n/t rods,pistons,rings.etc...... how far past a 75 shot could i go?on a daily driver? 150shot?

Depends on compression, for the most part the lower the better.
There is one person on the N/T board running aprox. 10.6:1 with a 70 shot but with forged pistons, stock rods shot peened.
The highest I've seen anyone run is 100 shot with upgrade pistons, rods rings etc but with lowered compression.
The thing you have to worry about the most is getting enough fuel.
There is a discussion on this going on here>>

Hope this helps some.

Thats backwards.
Direct port is either drill exsisting manifold or buy new, direct port means just that it shoots directly into the intake at each runner.
Fogger is a hole in the intake pipeing. <<<<<--- this is what I have.
