Hey can anybody recommend where to get a good used engine thanks Paul from IL

Depends. You need a complete engine? cylinder head and short block? If yours is repaiable I would try to rebuilt it and upgraded at the same time. If you want a used one you can always check your local junkyard.
Other then that how would you ship it if you were to buy it from someone else? And how do you know it has as many miles as they claim?

I see you are from IL. If you are in the Chicagoland area, you can try two places that import low mileage JDM motors. One is Soko, http://www.soko.com The other is Eric Japan Motors. I don't have a phone # for either one, but soko's is listed on their website. As for Eric Japan Motors, call info.

Both of these guys carry used, low mileage JDM motors, trannies, t-cases, etc.

PS - If you can't find Eric Japan Motors, they "sometimes" have an ad in the Sun-Times, usually buried in the classifieds section somewhere. Might also look in the Tradin Times (can be found at any local gas station, White Hen, etc)
