Ok, I know there is the Injun intake system out for the 2nd Gen eclipse, however I swear I remember seeing something similar in a magazine under new parts or something. It was BIG red and replaced the same part that the Chrome Injun replaces. Does anyone know what this part was called? Or has the issue/magazine that it was in?

No i have no idea about any intake other than the injen.I have it and its nice.If you want a shiny pipe go get one.

Kewl, I just saw this thing in some magazine, and I wanted to get it chromed, he was HUGE, had a nice huge tail down to the tubo. Damn..now im going to have to go thru all my freaking mags to try to find that..hehe

I think I know what your talking about.Was the pictured intake red and was real small at the throttle body side then flared out real big at the filter side?

yea, I think so. It has been awhile since I saw it. But i remember coming from the MAS it was kinda small, and as it goes down to the turbo, it gets freaking HUGE, and it was solid red.

ring a bell? I know im not going crazy..hehe

there was one for hondas just like what your describing and it was crap.Are you saying you saw a picture of one on a dsm?

YEA!! This was in some section in a magazine that had NEW ITEMS, and it was for DSM's. I can picture it in my head, plan as day.

Dejon tools makes intakes. They arent as flashy looking, but they are definetly high performance.

I think Boosted performance makes one as well

I may be WAY off base here ('cause I'm car illeterate), but you wouldn't happen to be refering to an Iceman intake would you? I know they have a strange flared design, they're small near the engine and get big toward the filter.

Maybe???

NO, this item is for the 2nd gen eclipse, that comes from the MAS and goes to the intake of the turbo.

Maybe it was something that never made it to full production. Greddy also has one that they use with there 18g setup.
