Hey,
I don't know if any of you guys have done this but, after I performed this mod I actually noticed a differance in power. Looking under the hood, to the lower left hand corner there is a snorkel attached to the air can. Underneath the snorkel, there is a black plastic resonator box where the inter cooler would normally be. Remove the air can. The resonator should be visible now. The are 3
11mm bolts holding it in place. You will have to go from underneath of the car. I must stress that it is not that easy to take out. Once the resonator is out, I cut the front off using a Dremel with a flat cutting disk. Reinstall the resonator. In theroy it should draw more air to the air can because from the factory it is completly sealed. I am also using a Weapor-R intake. If you wanted to you could just remove the resonator and leave it out. Other people I know have done this with success. By the way I accept no responsibilty for stuff you do to your car.
