hey, i was in the market for a front mount intercooler for my 97 tsi awd and was wondering if anyone has any good or bad experiences with the fmic offered by star performance. i checked the talon archives but didnt' find much about it. thanks for any info anyone might have.

hmmm....since no one is replying i'm assuming no one has this intercooler and if that is the case then i guess this is not a good fmic...wow...i just answered my own question..not bad..:D
Actually, I would say that the starr performance fmic is a good choice. To my knowledge, it uses a spearco core which is never a bad thing. People probably pass it up because they would rather have a larger core for the looks. Truth be told, you can pick up the starr unit with all of the intercooler piping(polished even) and the Greddy bov for about $1000! Sounds like a bargain to me! Sorry it took so long to reply.
