beware, pacesetters dont last very long. your best bet would be to buy them, and have them ceramic coated.

Yeah I would definetly go for it too. If it's the the black steel header then you might want to look into some thermal wrap cause I bought the black steel and then sold it and bought the creamic coated header. The black steel header will give off massive amount of heat unless the heat sheild or thermal wrap is put on.

I was thinking about buying a header for my 92 Talon (2.0) Would i have to buy a downpipe if i were to buy a header of any kind or what? Please lemme know. Thanx.

The pacesetter headers may only be 100$ but they are pure crap.. i have had people tell me (numerous times) about how they crack, and other numerous problems, i would just save up another 300$ and buy a buschur racing header and downpipe combo for 450. (www.machv.com)

i've had my headers on for two years now and they are pacesetters. i also have their catback exhaust. the quality is crap but the pair was less than some exhaust sytems alone. thye are crap qualit, but i haven't had any cracks or anything yet and i beat the hell out of my car. if i had money flowing out my ass i'd switch to something stainless , but being a college student i don't.

well the cracking usually occurs around the weld. but almost 50% of the time it is caused from not torquing the bolts right.but for the buck how does that pacesetter and header sound?? is it deep? what about your gains can you see any with the exhaustand/or header?

unfortunately i never ran the header with anything other than the pacesetter exj=haust. it is buzzy at middle rpm's or at partial throttle. but at full throttle and wot it is farily ballsy sounding. i did notice a big increase in part throrttle response and midrange power, but i also hollowed out the converter at the same time since they don't perform smog tests around here. so some of the gains could've come from that.

I have the Pacesetter on my 92 and its the biggest pos.
I had to have it welded twice. If your gonna buy it I'd offer him 60-70 bucks.

No, it won't fit. I did the same thing, I put thermal wrap over the pipes. It looks a lot better that way.

No it won't fit back over but if you didn't want to go with thermal wrap you could more than likely make some type of a heat sheild. The header hasn't cracked or given me any problems yet but I am looking into getting a bosal header at the moment. Anyone had any experience with these?

ok i bought the headers ,they seem to be working fine,i also have an exhaust.(somewhat) now i have a flowmaster can with a brospeed tip.it sounds pretty descent i think.plus it was very very good deal.ive noticed how hot the headers get and i am looking into purchasing some thermal wrap for them.the guy also gave me (high flow cat)(test pipe) im wodering if i put that on what exactly could be gained from that?( horses?deeper exhaust sound???????????????)
