Hey guys, I just wanted to give u some advice if ur going to buy a factory service manual. I was going to buy a manual for my 95 GST for $160 from the local dealer. With a 20% shop discount (I'm takin a Engine Rebuilding class and they get stuff at shop prices), the manual came out to like $128. Now that sounded like a pretty good deal and I figured that this was the price any dealership was going to charge. I couldnt have been more wrong. My teacher suggested that I call another dealership and they were only charging $95 for the same manual! This was their normal price! They wouldnt give me the 20% cause they said that they only mark up manuals very little but what a deal! Point is, dealerships are independently owned and their prices may differ. I saved $33 just for dialing another number.

i got my 1g shop manual for $65(came in two volumes: 1-chassis 2-electrical) and it covers everything. better than chiltons, but sometimes chilton's photos help.

id recommend pay the extra $45 and get the shop manual over chilton's

Got my shop manual for around $60 too. I went to my local dealer and they refered me to a phone number(which i no longer have) of a place that distributes the service manuals.
