Recomended tires...

What tires would you guys recomend for a performance oriented daily driver? They'll be going on a set of 17x7s, so I'll probably want something along the lines of a 215/40ZR17. I want decent durability with good traction and wet performance. The local shop kinda pushes Yokohama Paradas and Toyo Proxes T1S. What are your suggestions?

I run Pirelli P7000 Supersports and couldn't be happier with mine. The grip is fantastic, especially in the wet, and they seem to wear quite a while.
