I would like to get any responses to this boost controller . For those that have it how do you like it and how does it compare to others(if you've had others) that you have owned? I've decided that I want an electronic controller and its looking like it is going to be between this controller and the GReddy Profec B. There are other ones out there that I like but these 2 fall in my price range which I can afford. Right now I'm leaning toward the GReddy unit.

i have an EVC EZ in my eclipse and like it. i have never used the GReddy and the shop i worked at didn't sell much GReddy stuff at all so i don't have much experience with it. The EVC IV is also a very nice piece. i found the set up and larger size of the Apex'i AVCR to be somewhat difficult to use and install neatly. The EZ has 1 button and 1 knob. button = on/off on allows you to adjust boost, off goes back to the default wastegate setting....i.e. factory boost. knob = boost adjustment. turn the power on and crank to boost up. the EZ lacks a scramble boost mode but if its easy to reach it is very simple to either just push the power button and turn the knob up or just up the knob. basically.........the box should say Electronic Boost Controller for Dummies not EVC EZ :)

nice tool, simple to use, cheap.

also stacks on top of an AFR and next to a 46mm gauge in a single din location :)

I agree, its simple and it works. No fussy logic to deal with. Its like having a MBC that you can adjust very easily from inside the cockpit. I usually run with the power off (12 psi) and then when I wanna have fun, turn on the power and BAM 18 psi :)

Not cheap, but I hated adjusting the hallman at the track and screwing around trying to find the right setting.

I agree the ez is the easiest one out there and rock solid, make sure you have a boost guage cause thats the only way to set it
