View Full Version : Best clutch for my car??

i have a 1997 GS. what would be the best clutch replacement to go with? i am considering the Clutchmasters stage 1... i am NOT going to go turbo, if anything i wil just go with a 40 or 50 shot of NO2, but that would be a while away. i saw a CM stage 1 on Nopi.com for 388 bucks...it said all 2.0/2.4L models, so i massuming this would work with a N/T? thanks for any help or info.

I'm also wondering the same thing but for a 92 Talon. I may also go with nitrous at some point in time...depends on how well money is flowing. I'm wondering what clutch, price and from where.

I was wondering too, but I'm installing the Hahn stage 2. Have you guys ever thought of Centerforce? There's is like 450 or something. I am wondering if ACT makes a clutch for us?

ACT so far doesn't make a clutch for the 2g N/T. The 1g N/T's should be able to use the ACT one from the 1g GST.
I would say Centerforce for a clutch for the 2g though.

Im not too sure but i think i saw that ACT sell a clutch for the 2.0 N/A Eclipse and it costs about 400 bucks.

My lights do look like that when they are on, but in that pic, they weren't. Just had a little help with Corel.

Hey guys I just ordered a ACT 2100 clutch for my 96 n/t and it cost 400 bucks I should be getting it in tomorrow and installed some time this week....my stock clutch started to slip when i hit the good ole N20 so this should do the trick....I'll keep you guys informed on how the clutch turns out....later

I bought it from a speedshop called "theshowzone" http://www.theshowzone.com it's a pretty popular place down here in South Carolina I just called them while I was typing this and they DO make a clutch for our car the number is (843) 873-4071 if you guys would like to call and check on it go right ahead.....well gotta go cya later

Hey guys just an update....theshowzone called me and let me know that ACT does NOT make a clutch for our car !!!! so it looks like we may be stuck with clutchmasters or some other crap sorry for the misinfo.....
