On an AWD, which did you get, 2.5" or 3" Mandrel or pressbent? I'm doing the exhaust next and I'm leaning towards their exhaust. How were the fittings, etc?

Some quick personal notes on the Buschur exhaust systems. First of all I only installed the Buschur 1G AWD 2 1/2 downpipe to my existing Thermal Cat-back. The Buschr DP is a good mod that yielded noticeable performance, however it will not align up directly with the cat. It required some cutting and welding for proper installation. Hope this helps..

I have 2.5" Buschur pressbent exhaust - dp/cat(test)/catback/Dynomax. Pretty easy install, fit well.

Hey, MoBoost, could you tell us how that exhaust system sounds and your performance gains? Does it drone at highway speeds? Thanks.

I would not recommend getting any exhaust press-bent. Mandrel is far superior to press-bent. A 2.5 in exhaust will neck down to around only 2 inches in the bends!
2.5 in exhaust is easily good for mid-12's. A mid 12 sec car with a 2.5in exhaust would barely see any gains with a 3 in. In fact, i'm sure you could run 11's on one though you might be a tenth or two faster with a 3.

Sounds good! I don't know about the performance gains - but you can see my e.t. and that's basically exhaust, intake and the MBC. It's not very loud on highway speeds - it's louder than stock - but not innoing at all. I like very much. I don't see a huge performance gain to go with 3" from what I have right now if I stay with my 14B. Especially, that now I have a dump tube.

I ended up going with a Buschur 3" mandrel turbo back exhaust, it has a 3" downpipe, with a slip on test pipe, and a borla XR-1 muffler. The car sounds really mean, im one of them guys that prefer loud exhausts and choppy idles and loud fuel pumps so Im enjoying every thing about it. The bolt on was simple, everything bolted on perfectly and was a smooth fit, didnt have to hack anything. I started the car and went for a ride, I was running an 18G at 14 psi with the stock exhaust, the minute i pushed it the car jumped up 2 psi, the car really hit hard, pulls better up top, but I lost a little torque going to such a big system right away but I have plans of building a low 11 second machine and the motor is almost done and what not. I think that if your going to run high 11's low 12's your better off sticking with a 2.5 mandrel bent.

I have a 2.5 Mandrel bent cat back and a 2.5 high flow cat from buschur. I noticed a big difference as soon as I got it. The turbo spooled faster, a lot louder than stock but not as loud as I wanted it to be honestly. Apart from that, I wasn't to crazy about a 4 inch tip but its really not that bad. Also, I had a slight rattling problem when the put it on and I'm not sure what I can do to fix it. It was mad louder when some girl rear ended me. DOH! O well, I think its a great exhaust, cheap, good performance and worth the 375 which is a great price for what u get.
