Any one played with aerodynamics to increase downforce. I was thinking of adding a front splitter under the stock air dam to protrude forward made form alum or plexiglass. I have removed much of the front inner fender plastic to promote brake cooling but not sure what this has done to aerodynamics. What about removing the right headlamp for ram air, does that heart top speed much?
What about rear wings?

any increased drag is extremely noticable at higher speeds. i wouldnt do much to mess up the front end aerodynamic cause something called a boundry layer forms when an object is pushed through the air. it is the layer of air moving forward with the air. it is like this.. if you are going 55mph there is a thin layer of air on ur hood going 54, above that some air is going 53 and so on till the air is still relative to your movement. the thing is, the boundry layer grows in thickness to the rear of the vehicle. make it big in the front and it is huge in the rear and applying very large amounts of drag on the car. in other words, an air damn to divert air from going under the car is good.. doing anything to lessen the "smoothness" is bad, especially at the front of the car. i recommend getting a front mount intercooler and making a ram air by cutting a hold right below the filter and running it up from the side mount intercooler intake. on a 2g anyways not sure bout 1g

'95 GS-T free mods, K&N, 3" HKS Superdragger, ACT2600, lightened flywheel, and otherthings that escape me at the moment. T-25 handicapped though. As you can see its a work in progress. Figure if i buy it i should buy it once :)

Aside from aerodynamics ... Be careful when messing with any of that plastic behind the fascia that directs air to the radiator, especially if you have an FMIC. That stuff is there for a reason, it actually works and is not just decoration. I've heard of people overheating after removing it b/c their radiator wasn't getting enough air.
