this is something i've wondered about for a while, but have found no information about... why was the Laser the shortest-living line of the DSM's? i mean, if all three models of DSM were the same car, then why didn't the Laser sell better? was it just because of appearance? personally, i like the look of the Lasers the best... but that's just my opinion!

any ideas?

i think the same thing. i love the front end of the 1992-1994 laser better then any of them. i dont know why the didnt keep them going but i bet they would have been really sweet.

Personally I like the lasers too. They are great sleeper cars and nobody ever thinks that they have any power.

and the laser got great reviews for several years (http://pics.dsm.org/files/l-94-2.jpg) -- all the same, you don't see nearly as many lasers as you do eclipses and talons. i don't know--seems like chrysler dropped the laser line pretty quick. seems to me, they could have kept producing them. i'd like to see a 2001 Laser!

Chrysler had the laser in two line the eagle & plymouth. At the time Chrysler was trying to help the eagle brand do better so they dropped the plymouth laser (plymouth's big hit was the voyager) in hope of driving for sales to the eagle brand. It was all just a numbers game in which they lost anyway in the end.
