I live in ocean city maryland, I know theres deleware DSM but I don't live in deleware and I know about capitol area but I don't live near the capitol, I'd like to start one for our area but theres only a couple DSM's that would join, would I be able to join capitol area even if I live on the east coast? I'd really like to represent in some sort of club :(

I don't see why you can't be a part of DSMCA. We have members all over the place including Delaware, West Virginia and Pennsylvania as well as Maryland, Virginia and DC. I would like to see our club have more meets spread out around the area, that way we could hopefully have a meet closer to you. Until then I suggest trying to attend GT6 in Manassass, VA. I'm 45 minutes south of Philadelphia and an hour north of the (southern) DE dsm club. Several of us northern DE dsm'ers have been talking about organizing for years but nothing concrete yet.

I still like going to the CADSM meets at Bull Run park though, it's just a long drive to do anything more than that. Haven't met up with anybody in Philly yet.

Correction, its June 21st. I totally missed that. Anyway we'll be firing up the grills for hamburgers and hot dogs at 12 and we'll keep them fired up until 2pm, so come hungry :) We're also having raffles and several contests such as; Go Fast with Class, King of Bling, Fastest FWD/AWD, and Best Overall DSM. As for registering, you need someone who knows ya get ya IN. This keeps the core members participateing and not just duds who sit around never help'n out and what not. Your above remark will never help out any DSM group IMO.

I've hung with some of the local DSM groups too (Phoenix valley area), they all seem cool to me and don't bash NT's. Maybe that's your problem, you should get over it. :P

A couple of yeas ago, there used to be a DSM club here called "Boost Inside". At least I think they were a club. I think they dismembered because I haven't seen a DSM with that sticker on it in quite some time. Nobody wanted to mess with these guys. They were a bunch of old timers and some younger guys with some wicked fast DSM's.

Mainly because all the DSM url's all updated.
Well, most of them :P There are so many dead links off the
dsm.org page. So it's nice to see all these diffferent clubs listed.


As for your comment ftltalon, there is still a South Florida DSM.
Some of the folks on the old board are still with us. I'm the Admin
and Co-President of the club. We have DSM's from all over
Broward county and West Palm Beach. We go to the track,
have wrench days and a secton on the forum for anybody
who needs help. We have various get-togethers with other clubs.

Infact just last weekend a few of us shot some video for
alittle compliation we're putting together. We have shirts and hats but
the final design is still being debated. And most importanlty,
we're looking to go alot faster this year...;)

No clubs in South East North Carolina, none that I know of. Im not gonna start one cuz i dont know anyone down here in Carteret County. Ive only seen like one guy my age with a 1G and nothing but old people and handicapped with 1G GS's. Ive seen so many jar heads with 2G NT's though. None of em modded, just a few with rims. I dont think there are any DSM clubs around here. I know of an F-body and Mustang club...

But no DSM's. I would like to start one, maybe I might just make up a bunch of flyers and put them on all the windshields of every DSM i see haha.

No. The only DSM's I have seen around here are a '92 talon tsi with a bent frame and it's missing 95% of it's parts, and a half hour down "the highway" there's an older Plymouth Laser driven by some grey-haired grandma, but it's a total rust bucket...:(
I could drive an hour to the ferry, sit in a line up for an hour or two (on a good day) and take the 40 minute crossing to Vancouver, then I'd have to pay $40.00 to get back on the ferry add in the cost of gas...:wall:

Nope, Im in alaska, and there is almost no DSM's here, One is my 2G talon, theres only 2 othere ones here, 1Gb Eclipse and thats my best friends, and there is only one other one of those here, and my brothers 1Gb talon, and theres a few 1g's here but most are ownd by old people or ricers....

I'm from the Toronto, Canada area and there's been a DSM Club in our area for years (about 15 I think). We have informal meetings every month at an area mall parking lot. Also, other meetings are arranged from time to time. I've been a member for about 7 years now. It's actually a Canada-wide club but probably half its active members live within an hour of Toronto. (For those of you who aren't familiar with Canada, Toronto is the New York City of Canada--it's our big town). Quite a hard-core group of DSMers around here.

I live In Casa grande AZ and among people I personaly know there's atleast 1/2 a dozen dsm's 2 automatic gst, 2 gs, 1 rs, my gst and a fwd turbo talon and an awd turbo talon sounds like we need a club. Then again What kind of benefits do you get from a club?

There is a Toledo, OH DSM club online (I won't post the site). It is minimal, but still something atleast. We also have a tuner shop which focuses primarily on DSMs (won't post name, don't wanna get banned or anything). They do exhausts, coilover installs, paint, etc. Pretty fairly priced too. Also great if you need any OEM body parts.

Asmodeus and K_mans_tsi, along with a Small handful of DSM'rs are the only others in the Pittsburgh area that I talk to. I know Nate from tpg tuning is close...
