3g supercharger for 2g Spyders?

Think this would this work?
The 96-99 Spyders have the same 2.4L 4G64 engine as the 2000+ RS & GS models, which the supercharger is made for, so would I be right? Or is there something I'm missing because of my limited knowledge :D

Yea HKS scrapped the one that was gonna be stock, but there are other 3rd parties out there working on one I think.

HKS gives up too easy. If they're designing a future OEM part for the 04/05 Eclipse, which is when its scheduled for a facelift, why can't they MAKE it work? I mean they've changed engine specs between gens before, why not again?
