Last Friday, I went to the track and pulled a 14.018 @ 98.3mph in my '98 Eclipse GSX. But that was with a 2.0 60' time.

I am having real trouble launching the car now...still haven't learned how to yet...but if I were able to lower my 60' time to like 1.75-1.80..how much should my ET's drop?

Thanks,

On that exact run, if you'd pulled off a 1.75-1.80 60' time, you'd probably be around a 13.75 or so. It's hard to say, but that's a rough estimate.

Quick update. I ran at Norwalk tonite and I got the hang of launching the car now...

RT - 0.502 (DAMN, I am the bionic drag racer...not, just got lucky)
60' - 1.823 (could use a bit of work)
1/4 - 13.545
MPH - 99.35

I'm happy now...now where's my 3" full exhaust...hmmm.

That's more like it! :) Now you need to let the car breath with a dp and test pipe to see some real times. :)

The basic rule of thumb is 'For every .1 sec gained in the 60ft you'll see a gain of .15 sec in the 1/4 mile E/T.'
