saturday night I was out crusing waiting for something to do.
Driving around for 10 minutes I see the rice patrol fly the other way so no fun there.
Until I look ahead about 1/4 of a mile and notice some very different looking tailights. Two sets for that matter.
Speed up a tad, get closer and I notice racing stripes on not one but TWO meaty looking chevelles or maybe one camaro.
Both these fookers are LOUD one(502) has skinnys on the front and meats the size of small cattle on the back. They are playing with a MX-6.
So I speed up and pass them. As passing I notice one has a 396 badge on its 1/4 panel. While the other has a 502. So i'm a tad worried about the 502 car. Since I know, no chevelle had a 502 in it stock(454 the biggest I do believe)
Plus it sounds like a mild cam. But the exhaust was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO loud. At their idle I could barely hear anything besides my radio turned up rather high.
So what luck we hit a light. I'm thinking, if I tree him I can beat the 502 to the end of the intersection. :D
I knew winning was out of the question.
So they both rev up and down. My car shaking from their revs.
Cross light goes green, I tach it up to 5 grand. They look at me funny. Then they stall up and I couldn't hear myself think.

clutch in and only dropped the rpm's by MAYBE 200. So i'll take that launch.
I treed the 502, so I jumped a car right away. But thats when I knew I was toast. All that I did was put him at my rear 1/4. That ONLY on the launch. The rest of first gear he was stuck, not moving back an inch(shit on me).
Shift to second and me being me attempted to speed shift it and missed 2nd(doh).
So he flew by and shut her down at 60 with me at his rear bumper.
The 396, was in my rear view at least 3 cars back. Dunno if he tried, but he wasn't as far back as the other cars so I think he did.
So after getting beat, I went to the womans and drove around some more. Then decided to head out to a friends place.
On my way there A Probe GT with a body kit and a few mods decided to get some attention by peeling out at a turn.
So how could I let this go unpunished??
After a few miles I get closer when the light in front turned the lovely color of red.
I roll up beside him. Putting my bumper at his mirror. Wait a second then give it a rev and blow off in his window.
Light turned green, and we both roll out slowly, midway thru first he cans it(was giving him the jump)
then proceed to punch second. Put a few inches on him in the remainer of 1st. Ran out most of second and put him a few feet off my bumper then short shift at 6k to 3rd and start walking at a quick rate. Probly 2.5 cars, not 100% sure as I wasn't going to lean my head out the window to check.
Shut it down at 75ish.
The probe was a nice car, very nice white with a not too overboard kit on it with some bling BLANG rims.
From the stickers on the door he has a cai and some suspension components. The exhaust was most likely a full exhaust as it sounded rather throaty.
