Well after I finally figured out how to install these "correctly" I noticed a world of difference over the stock shocks & struts.
Basically, you tell the shock what to do. You want stiffer, just a turn of a knob(rear) or a screw(front) or if you want softer, inbetween, or whatever...it's just that easy. Fronts are 4-way adjustable, while the rears are 8-way adjustable.
The car handles the road 110% better than before IMO!
I highly recommend these shocks & struts!

We Love to hear details in the parts review!:D
Tell us more about the instalation?
What springs are you using?
What is your impression of the workmanship?
How much did you pay?
Any other impressions, please!
thanks:)

I am using ground-controls with the KYB AGX's.
Installation was simple. The first time I put the struts in, I forgot to put the 2 washers on. That caused a lot of play and lead to a terrible ride with lots of clunking.
The best part was when I went to put the 2 washers on, it only took me 25 minutes to remove and reinstall the struts. VERY easy. The rears are just as easy.
I paid $370 shipped for the set of 4 at Advance Auto. The guy gave me 15% off, originally they were like $400 something.
I have seen them for as cheap as $333, but then you'd have to pay for shipping.
I'd say the quality and workmanship is excellent.
With the Ground-control/AGX setup, I can adjust the height of the car as well as the stiffness or softness within MINUTES!
I love it.
How close to these keep the car to the stock launch?

It really all depends on what setting you choose. (spring rates/shock & strut settings)
I've found that a softer setting in the back and a stiffer setting in the front is good for launching. (that is with AWD) But I've only had these on for a few days, so I'm still experimenting.

I have the ground control/agx combo on my 2G and I would have to say I absolutely love em and how they have improved everything to do with my suspension. But can also say in the same since I hate them because they made the shocks too tall in the front therefore I can't drop my front end down where I would like to, to keep the weight in the front. If I were to buy this combo again, it would definetly be the Ground controls, but not the AGXs.

Boosted20G, how much did you lower your car front and rear then? And what about you, 90TSi? :)

I don't know.. after the 18"s and what not I bet my car is down maybe 2 inches in the front... I don't know though, I just don't like it. I'm going to purchase a shorter shock in the future
