videos are fun!!! gimme a few days and I will post a 130+ run of my own. I raced a friend of mine's cobra and stayed in front till 110+ ..........he caught me by 120 and started creeping. AWD drivetrain loss is a bitch!!! I will give credit where credit is due...his car is quick.....but he would not have caught me by the end of the 1/4 mile :) I'll try to post more vids in the next few days. I have a lot of friends with badass cars....(rx-7 w/ streetport, 2.4 swapped neon, 250 shot ws6 trans-am, several stangs, motor swapped hatches, and a few wrx's) etc.......give me time and I will try to get video of all of them....

Here are some of my personal favorites I found on another thread a while back.

Here is some racing footage for you all to enjoy.

PLEASE right-click and "Save As" instead of playing the video directly off the server.

You will need the DivX codec to watch these, which you can get from http://www.divx.com.

I will include a brief description of each video below:

The first video is of me racing a T66 Single Turbo Supra on the highway. Its my White 91 AWD, FP Green, stock cams, pumpgas and my friends Supra. We start somewhere in 2nd gear and he lets off sometime in 4th it looks like.

The next video is of a buddy's Black 91 AWD racing the same T66 Supra. I believe he was on 26psi and mix of Sunoco and Unocal race fuel.

The first video is a 2nd gear roll with him driving his car. (He shifts slow!)

Note the severe slow shifting, and its effect during the race. Sad really. You can almost hear the poor transmission BEGGING to be shifted faster.

Ok, so now I suggest that I drive his car and conduct the EXACT same race. Here is the video of me driving his car, shifting it like a man, the way god intended. In this race you can clearly see the Supras gearing advantage in 5th gear. More like the AWD 5th sucks ass. Above 140 the Supra starts to pull back and passes.

The next video in this series, is me driving his car, going from a 1st gear roll against said Supra. Note the horrendous distance gained when I "bang" 2nd "dirty". Ah yes, the joys of a dual cone 2nd gear setup. Wish I had one. This race starts at about 10-15MPH, and I lift at about 150MPH or so. Note the glowing brake rotors.

And the last video in this series is a classic DSM battle. My buddy vs me, from a 2nd gear roll. You can't really hear the horn to start the race, but when you see my car (right lane) spit out a HUGE black cloud of smoke (can we say running RICH!), you can interpret that as the beginning of the race.

It's a t3/t4 60trim. And he had a not so good shifting JMD tranny that he nuked the Center diff in the last run of the day.

He probably dumps to the atmosphere there. With just 550's on a non-rewired pump, my freind told me my car shot a 5' flame (which in turn freaked the driver right on my ass). So if a stock pump is capable of doing that, I'm sure that car had no problem spaying way too much.

Nick is running a Pina Motorsports 3.5" Turbo-Back Stainless Exhaust strapped to a Forced Performance 3575 turbo which dumps a Tial 40mm wastegate to the atmosphere. It isn't actually very loud in car but sounds absolutely amazing when it opens up. And that run for him was nothing, he was having serious tuning issues on pump gas, but race gas last week yielded an 11.2 @ 128 mph. He and I then proceded to terrorize an R6 on the freeway, no contest at all for the car. The car is just a beast.

Most Pina Motorsports exhausts have this sort of growl, my 3" even does.
