Yes I know this was sort of discussed a while ago, but I just got an email back from Doug's Dynopower!

The 4cyl 4g64 turbo kit (fits 96-99 N/T Spyders, 94+ galants, 00-present RS/GS Eclipses) will be ready in 2 weeks. They just need to get ahold of a 4g64 car to make all of the pipes fit properly.

The v-6 Eclipse/Galant/Stratus kit is finished.

Start saving your pennies kids :D

If I can actually save the money, hell yea. I've wanted a turbo car for so long now, but I just can't get rid of my purple baby :D
I figure even if I traded mine in and got a 96-99 Spyder gs-t, i'd be paying way more than a turbo kit for the added interest payments anyway. Plus my insurance said they wouldn't carry me if I got a turbo model, heh, well now they don't hafta know :)

You right, It is close to costing the same. I bought a new 98 spyder GS and then two years later wanted to find a GST or a GSX. Everyone wants top dollars for those. If I did trade in my car I would loose money on it and then have to pay what ever the dealer wants for that 5 speed turbo. I am just going to have to wait until this kit becomes more popular.

...and more than a year later, this kit will not fit on the 2g Spyders anyway, heh.

did they happen to mention how much boost their turbo would have, and how much power we could expect to gain. I really want to get a turbo for my galant, but I have really had a hard time finding one, so I really excited to hear about this.

Im going to purchase the turboi kit for my 98 eclipse spyder 2.4L And was wondering if anyone else has installed this kit before?? Im very excited to get the kit, please let me know if anyone has it??

what does the "B" stand for in the T3/T4B turbo. i went to turbonetics website and only found T3/T4 hybrid. i to am going to purchase this turbo for my 96' spyder.

Like i said in a earlier i bought the t3t4b turbo from Overboost and i dont know what the "b" stands for but does anyone know how much HP this thing will add??? I was told by a lil birdie that it adds 100HP is this somewhat reasonable?

it all depends on how much boost u run. withouth changing pistons and rods u can't run more than 9-10lbs. of boost before blowing soemthing. but that there should get u to around a 100hp or a little less. but i called and they said u can run as much boost as u want as long as u replace internals and so on. its sounds good to me i just want to know what the "B" stands for!!!

If you guys want info on turboing a 4g64 check out yahoo group 4g64. The guys there are great and they have a couple of turbo guys running around. BTW someone said the overboost turbo kit was a bunch of crap and didn't fit. Just a warning. I don't know firsthand. Check it out before buying.

That kit on Overboost's site WILL NOT work on the 4g64. It has been verified, and Overboost are a bunch of e-tards. It is for the 420a.
