i recently bought a 95gst with some nice mods(16g,blah) when i bought the car it had the eibach sportlines(1.8 drop)in the sig. and blue tokico non-adj in front with stock blown in the rear. the first thing i did was order a set of springs, i got the pro-kit(1.3 or 1.4 drop)$210 and got some agx 8way adj in the rear$85/each. when i first got in the car i was surprised how much stiffer the suspension was(setting 4), the old sportlines were over 3 years old and had softened, the city driving has become much better, softer and i dont have to stop for every change in the road. on the freeway the they are a blast. i was out testing my new suspension on the freeway, a long 90degree left, took it at 90 entering and about 115+ exiting w/o tire squeal understeer on stock h rated 2055516 all while in the very left lane. the car felt like it was on rails. i have them currently set on 3, i could even go softer, but dont mind the ride.
i think that they are causing my stock clutch to slip even more, i used to be able to put it in second, click over to high boost via profec b and gun it, then loose the tires running 15psi, now the car just takes off with the tires chirping for grip on setting 3, putting more strain on the clutch, will change to 7 or 8 when i hit the track. would like to improve on the cars best of 14.2.
what is a good tire pressure setting with these shitty ass stock tires and rims, i was thinking 20 in the front and 40 in the rear.
so overall i am very happy,
the agx are very afforadable and changing settings only takes seconds.
the pro-kit is the best set of springs period, car still looks mean, but rides firm, will post before and after pics so you can see. most people couldnt even tell the difference in ride height.
