Turbo in a 87 Thunderbird ???

What size turbo is in the 87 thunderbird, and will in fit in a 99 GS-t

It's either a small T3, or small IHI with a T3 inlet flange (some years used T3s, and some years used IHIs). Sorry I can't remember anything more specific right now.

No it will not fit on a DSM without some custom work.. and it's not worth that amount of effort to install a turbo that small, when there are other turbos that will bolt onto your existing setup easily.

You might try looking at www.turboford.org or some of the other Ford sites for more info.

86 and lower uses a t3 and 87 and higher uses an ihi rhb52
the ihi sucks, wont bolt up right, it only flows about 30 more cfm's than a t25 and its an ihi.
