I noticed that you were looking into the Fidanza clutches. I had called them and they just started making them for the DSM's about two years ago, which explains why I couldn't really find many reviews about them.
I went with the 4.3 setup, (it's the ceramic 6 puck) after my SBR 3500 unraveled and burnt up after about 25k miles and once at the track. (I know that the ACT 2600 is general consensus, being a 2G 7bolt and all I was trying to stay away from that one, although that's not something you have to worry about.) I also have the Fidanza flywheel and SS lines with it.
The clutch is VERY grabby. It does chatter, though not as much as I expected, it just takes some driving to get used to it. The car is a DD, and it's also my snow car (with studded tires) and the Fidanza clutch has not been detrimental at all in this aspect. I don't have to launch all the time or anything, it just needs a little gas to get going smoothly. The pressure plate is a little lighter (2200 lbs) but the disk makes up for it, it has no trouble at all with the gobs of power my AWD puts down

. I was told by Fidanza that it holds 500ft/lbs, I'm not near that though.
Seriously though, I haven't had any issues with slipping or anything like that, and I have driven it a bit froggously, though I haven't been at the track with this one. I can't really creep forward well, and it takes some fancy footwork for crawling traffic, but I'm sure it's the clutch/flywheel combo that makes it worse.
Overall, I'm quite pleased with the clutch. The pedal pressure is gloriously consistent (something I always fought with when I had the SBR one) although the pedal is lighter and springier than I had before. After a day or two of getting used to it (especially in traffic,) I have no driveablilty issues, however if I let someone else drive the car, they will inevitably stall and buck repeatedly. Just a thought if you let other people drive it much.
Give the guys at Fidanza a call, their customer service is awesome and you get to talk to a real person. They'll even email you if you prefer that. I dealt with a nice fellow named Shawn, and he was more than happy to answer any questions that I had.
Hope this helps your decision. I know that there's not alot of info out there about DSM's and the Fidanza clutches, but I figured that I'd let you know all that I could.
