whats up bros' my names gavin & this is my slammed 96' eclipse straight out of San Antonio Texas!

the engine is a bonestock 420a with 40,000 original miles, i wish i could say im into boost and all that jazz but I could care less, shes been problem free for the last 3years and I wanna keep it that way.

Im running some pretty wide wheels.. the typical dsm enthusiast likes to think you can't fit anything wider than 9" which is bullshit because ive been able to fit a set of 10.5" fronts & 11" in the rears, with some heavy fender pulling & cutting of course. These bad boys are nearly 10" all the way around.. i have 215/35 tires upfront & 225/40 in the back. A few of these pics are from last month, ive actually gone a bit lower since.

i have full hks exaust piping with a bosozoku style tip in the back,
other than a few exterior mods that's about it...
i just did my custom headliner & arches and im swapping my stock seats for GLI recaros,

all in all im happy where it's at, im trying to land wekfest texas in austin this year so hopefully all goes well,
I run a san antonio based photography page called Texas Low Life, we're currently in the process of taking things to the next level and launching a website, so be on the look out

hope you guys enjoyed seeing something different, im about to spice things up and hopefully get my hands on some beat up concave rotiforms, so keep your eyes peeled for more pics

I like the way your car looks. I think what people are saying is too bad is doesn't have more power.

Anyways, we really DO care about capitalization, punctuation, and to a lesser degree grammar. Please take this as the friendly advice it is supposed to be. You can edit your threads for up to 10 minutes.

Welcome to the forum, follow the rules and moderator advice and you'll do fine.

Good luck and enjoy your ride.

If I could have ended up with a gst or gsx I wouldn't have complained,
she's just a daily.

I ended up picking this up for practically nothing..
at only 40,000 original miles you can't beat that,
the 420a really is a great engine when maintained properly.

Nice car and is speed bumps your enemy?

The only thing I don't like is having hugely wide wheels with skinny ass tires. I don't like that look, but hey plenty of people do and the car is clean.

I like those rims a lot. 2g people can get away with that, but us 1gs would be casted to the depths of hell if we ever thought of doing that lol.

Just my 2 cents, a lot of people on this forum are from a older generation so when they see us "typin lik dis" it can be alittle annoying (JUST MY 2cents)

Also welcome to the forums, these forums will teach you EVERYTHING u need to understand about dsms

No offense but I'm very glad you didn't get a GST or GSX. I don't get this whole stance or hellaflush fad or whatever the hell its called.

Hatred for this fad aside, for what you were going for it looks pretty good besides that horrible exhaust tip. I still hope this fad dies out soon, nothing pisses me off more than seeing a "stanced" evo.

You've done a great job making the car look how you like it and for that you get a :tree:. Really, that is what it's about. However you did post this on a car forum and as expected, we're going to comment on it.

It's really not for me, +1 for it being a 420a. It makes just about as much sense as the rusted hood fad. :p
