Hey guys, gotta few questions before i upgrade fuel. I do have some links and they are all EBay. First off i have been looking at walbro 255 fuel pumps and it seems there are alot of different ones for different prices. Is walbro the brand or is it a type of pump? Heres a link to the one i was looking at, anygood? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Walbro-Fuel-Pump-95-99-Mitsubihi-Eclipse-Talon-255-LPH_W0QQitemZ110243607101QQcmdZViewItem

2nd. What about PTE + RC injectors? I found 1000cc for 300 and 350 shipped on both brands on ebay. Here are links.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/RC-FUEL-INJECTORS-1000CC-ECLIPSE-TALON-PRELUDE_W0QQitemZ290223057209QQcmdZViewItem

PTE:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=320115050652&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=011

3rd. What about brand name AFPR? I found a complete set up with gauge for 65 shipped and a b&m was 56 + 41 FOR A GAUGE. Here are links. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MIT-ECLIPSE-4G63-VISION-FUEL-PRESSURE-REGULATOR-GAUGE_W0QQitemZ260231594869QQcmdZViewItem

Walbro is the brand, it pumps 255 liters per hour(lph). That link you posted for the pump is fine.

PTE and RC injectors are fine, and either will work.

Don't get that B&M, you can only raise fuel pressure with it, not lower it. Look into an aeromotive afpr and gauge.

When you upgrade your fuel pump, you will over-run your fpr, thus increasing pressure. This will cause your base fuel pressure to be eratic and it will cause it not to rise 1:1 with boost. Non-stable base fuel pressure will cause weird idle situations, stumbling and what not. This is why you need to be able to reduce pressure.

O ok, i get it. So when i upgrade fuel pump and injectors, i will need to lower it down to still stock pressure, although it will be higher volume which means more fuel right? Is it the N/A guys who use afpr to add more fuel for more power then?

Also if you had a choice between RC's and PTE get the RC. They truely flow what they are rated at. PTE's dont. They are just reflowed GM injectors.

PTE 1000cc= 940cc actual flow
RC 1000cc= 1000cc actual flow
I just purchased PTE 650cc. Does this mean they only flow low 600cc - high 500cc? Or is that only the 1000cc?

I recommend FIC injectors and an Aeromotive AFPR on any DSM.

AFPR = Adjustable fuel pressure

There are plenty of reasons why you would want to raise or lower your base fuel pressure. In your case, you have a 2G FWD, which will not have large fuel pressure overrun problems. The 2G AWD cars are the ones who suffer greatly when installing a Walbro 255HP intank fuel pump because of the design of the plastic saddle fuel tank.

1G's and 2G FWD's have very little FPR overrun even with HUGE pump setups. I have 2 fuel pumps Y'd together in parallel with a BONE stock return line, and I can run fuel pressures as low as 26 PSI.
