Mizumo rebuild kit?

Does anyone have any experience with these "ebay brand" rebuild kits? It's pretty cheap so I was wondering about the quality. I need to rebuild my daily driver, looking to do it as cheap as possible.

Any information or advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Mizumo rebuild kit?

Yup, I used a ebay gasket kit on my build but used a mitsubishi mls head gasket. And last week I had to pull the front case off the block to replace the crappy paper gasket that kept leaking oil.

Definitely go oem with the head gasket and front case, ofh and just about any other paper gasket. Like ralliartGS-T stated.

Re: Mizumo rebuild kit?

OEM without a doubt. There is a reason why that kit costs $200 and change. Because its worth far, far less.

Re: Mizumo rebuild kit?

When you say cheap as possible, do you mean cheap now, expensive later? Or cheaper in the long run?

When you run aftermarket parts that have such a key role in your engines health, it's very hit and miss.

Re: Mizumo rebuild kit?

OEM will be more expensive now but cheaper in the long run because the parts should last. When you buy these cheap unknown companies bullshit, you get cheap bullshit. You cant expect it to last because their quality is unknown.

Go with what is tried and true, quality aint cheap and cheap aint quality.
