Hey guys I was wondering if anyone ever did the tan and black interior with the black leather. In my quest to find tan leather for my gst (it has tan cloth) I found some black leathers for $225 so I grabbed them. I figure they would look great because the dash is all black and tan. Pics will be up soon waiting for rain to stop to put them in.
Yeah I agree ill look on eBay for the black receivers. It was a really easy swap. Only 4 bolts each front seat and 4 in the rear, only took me like 25 minutes.
That looks good. All you need is to find some black something to replace the tan patterned cloth on the door panels and you'll have a sweet two tone interior.

I think you need to put the tan plastic seat trims along the bottom of the front seats. It looks a little weird having a solid black seat sitting in the middle of all tan.
My wife loves to sew stuff. I'm having her sew in some black leather over the insert piece in the next week or so ill post pics when done. I'm loving the black seats.
While going black inside I figured perfect time for some tail light tint. I've done a few of my buddys cars for practice and figure I'm pro status now so why not. I use night shades its a paint I find 2 coats gives a nice smoke and 3 black you out so I went 3 on mine. Came out great any local dsm guys out there want it done I got a half can left and could do another set free of charge. Only downfall is you will have to wait about 2-3 hours before I would drive on them. Well on with the pics installed pics to come soon.
Looks great for the daytime, but doesn't work well for function at night. You should look at the light output at night and see what your lights put out.

Yeah I know about the lighting issue really though they light up great. My buddys gtp has the reverse lights in the tails and going in reverse was only issue I found but the eclipse has seperate reverse lights. Not doing the headlights for sure though. I'll post night pics tonight.
